Ms. Vidya Gopidas OwnerChildren bring out the child in me. Playing and learning along with my students gives me great joy. I have been an educator, as long as I can remember. I have over 25 years of experience in teaching in various fields. I have been teaching, and assisting with Safari Kid since 2004. I forayed into franchisee ownership in Santa Clara since 2014. I enjoy the arts, dancing and singing with the children. I also administer the program and I am grateful for my wonderful staff. I am also a yoga teacher. You will hear many a ‘Breathe in, Breathe out’ resounding from my facility. I inculcate spirituality in all dimensions of my work. It serves as a beacon in the role that I play in life. I have two Master degrees, one in Curriculum, Instruction and Media Technology from Indiana State University.The other in business. I have worked in the income tax department for the Government of India and had a short stint with Oracle as technical support in the bay area. I am a perennial student. At present, I am studying French and Korean. I volunteer with a non profit Art of Living Foundation. I am proud to have been a mentor and guide to the hundreds of children who have walked into my school and my life.

Having been in the childcare industry for over 20 years I have a tremendous passion toward teaching preschool and high school. Teaching has been sheer joy and gives me the impetus to wake up in the morning. My hobbies are dancing, singing, reading, hiking, and cooking. I also play the ‘Veena’, a traditional Indian musical string instrument. My stint as a Director and in an administrative capacity has strengthened my leadership skills and given me a wider perspective in life. I believe in giving back to the community. I do volunteer work with many non profit organizations namely in educational, and religious organizations. I am actively involved in cultural organizations like SiliconAndhra. I volunteer with ManaBadi in administrative and teaching.
I have been with Safari Kid since 2015. I enjoy being a part of an esteemed organization like Safari Kid where I continue to pursue my passion in teaching and administration.

Ms. Dhivya After School TeacherHello ! As the saying goes, one of the greatest sharing is the sharing of knowledge, I consider the sharing of knowledge and teaching the children the most rewarding, and being a fulfilling profession. I have a B.Tech. in computer science. I am a former software developer. Now, I am an After School Program Teacher. I have worked for a couple of years with children. I loved volunteering in a non profit Pre-k program. I love being and working with kids because I feel young kids are like clay, we can shape them into kind and responsible human beings. Few of my hobbies include pencil sketching, acrylic painting, doing arts and crafts and singing. I love sharing this with my students.

It makes me happier and helps me become a more positive person. I received a Bachelor in Engineering. But I have taught for a few years, including working at the CADD institute. I love listening to music, going on nature hikes, playing tennis and working on puzzles. I believe that sharing the positivity I feel with the children makes the world a little better.
