Our program welcomes babies starting at 6 weeks into a warm, center-based environment where every interaction is guided by a research-informed curriculum designed to nurture the whole child.
The Bambino Infant Curriculum addresses five developmental domains: Cognitive Development, Language and Literacy Development, Physical Development, Social and Emotional Development, and Health and Care. Five Developmental Domains of the Bambino Infant Curriculum
The curriculum is built around five interconnected domains, each one reflecting what developmental science tells us about how the earliest weeks and months shape a child’s brain, body, and relationships.
Cognitive Development
We encourage curiosity through soothing music, high-contrast board books, and discovery baskets filled with textured materials. Babies practice finding hidden objects, mimicking gestures, and engaging their senses in ways that build early thinking skills.
Language & Literacy Development
Long before babies say their first word, they’re absorbing language. Our educators support early communication through playful conversations, narrating daily actions, naming familiar objects, singing songs, and reading aloud while pointing to words, laying the groundwork for literacy from the very beginning.
Physical Development
Babies build fine motor skills, coordination, and spatial awareness through sensory-based opportunities to grasp and manipulate objects. Music and movement activities like dancing and clapping together develop rhythm and body awareness in a joyful, low-pressure way.
Social & Emotional Development
Secure attachment formed with consistent, responsive caregivers is widely recognized as a key factor in emotional health throughout childhood. We prioritize that bond every day. Mirror exploration and other activities help infants develop self-awareness and begin expressing their emotions safely.
Health & Care
We support infants in learning to self-regulate through soothing behaviors like rocking and talking softly. Sensory explorations help infants build confidence in their environment, supporting a foundational sense of calm and trust.

What a Day in the Bambino Infant Program Looks Like
Parents often want to picture what their baby’s day actually looks like. Our program blends interactive play, sensory experiences, and gentle guidance into a daily schedule that feels both purposeful and peaceful.
Activities include discovery baskets, baby sign language, music and movement, block play and manipulatives, high contrast books, and quiet time woven into a structured caregiving schedule. Baby sign language, introduced in the first year, can give infants a way to communicate before spoken language develops, which can reduce frustration and support bonding between caregiver and child.
The Bambino Infant Curriculum mirrors home routines to promote safety and security. When a baby’s center schedule aligns with what they know at home, the transition into group care can feel gentler for everyone. Our sensory-rich environment invites exploration at every stage, and low caregiver-to-child ratios ensure each baby receives individualized attention throughout the day.
