Infant Care in Fremont

The Bambino Infant Program at Safari Kid Fremont - Irvington

Our Bambino Infant Program welcomes babies starting at 6 weeks into a safe, stimulating environment built around whole-child development. Designed to ignite curiosity and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, the program combines a structured, research-informed curriculum with the kind of warmth your baby would feel at home. Safari Kid Fremont - Irvington is currently enrolling, serving families in the Irvington and Kimber-Gomes neighborhoods of Fremont.

Choosing infant care is one of the most significant decisions a new parent makes. Infancy is a critical developmental window, and the quality of a care environment during these early months can shape outcomes well beyond the first year. The Bambino Infant Program is built with that weight in mind.

The Bambino Infant Curriculum

The Bambino Infant Curriculum is research-informed and designed to develop the entire child, not just one dimension of growth. It mirrors home routines to promote safety and security, helping babies build trust in their care environment from their very first days with us. Activities are intentional and play-based, drawing on a sensory-rich environment to enhance motor skills, language abilities, and self-awareness.

The curriculum is organized around five developmental domains, each addressed through specific, age-appropriate activities your baby can experience each day.

Cognitive Development

Caregivers encourage awareness and early problem-solving through soothing music, high-contrast board books, and discovery baskets. Babies explore textured materials, practice finding hidden objects, and begin mimicking gestures, building the mental connections that support later thinking and reasoning.

Language & Literacy Development

Language begins long before a baby says a first word. Our caregivers engage in playful conversations throughout the day, narrating daily actions and using simple words for familiar objects. Singing songs, chanting nursery rhymes, and reading aloud while pointing to words all build early literacy foundations during this window when the brain’s neural connections are forming most rapidly.

Physical Development

Babies are given regular opportunities to grasp and manipulate objects, and caregivers dance and clap with them to develop fine motor skills, coordination, spatial awareness, and a sense of rhythm. These activities support the physical confidence your baby needs to explore the world around them.

Social & Emotional Development

The program fosters secure attachments between infants and their caregivers through consistent, responsive care. Mirror exploration and similar activities support self-awareness and encourage emotional expression at an age when these capacities are just beginning to emerge.

Health & Care

Caregivers model and engage in soothing behaviors such as rocking and talking softly throughout the day. Sensory explorations help infants develop confidence in their environment and in themselves, supporting their ability to self-regulate emotions as they grow.

What to Look for in Infant Child Care in Fremont

Not all infant care is the same. When evaluating your options, a few quality indicators consistently matter most.

A Named, Age-Appropriate Curriculum

Generic “care” and a structured infant curriculum framework are very different things. Look for a program that can describe what your baby can actually experience and why, not just that they’ll be supervised and kept safe.

Low Caregiver-to-Child Ratios

Smaller ratios allow caregivers to respond promptly to each baby’s individual cues. Responsive caregiving is the foundation of secure attachment, which research suggests supports emotional regulation, social skills, and academic readiness later in childhood.
